Group 1- Toddlers/Pre-Schoolers
A play-room is available for our youngest members to take off their shoes and run around. Toys and games are played under the watchful eyes of Shevi Rosenberg and Leah Rosenberg whose warm and friendly voices lead the children in several basic prayers (Modeh Ani, Shema, etc) before concluding the morning with story-telling time. The activities are rounded off with a nice snack of juice and cookies.
Group 2- Elementary School Grades 1-4
BOYS in the Classroom, GIRLS in the Library. The morning begins with Davening. We familiarize the youth with the Shabbos morning prayer in a structured but easy atmosphere of group participation under the patient guidance of Netanel Benarroch and Shoshana Kogut. This abridged service is designed to eventually ease the children into the Youth Minyan. The second part of the morning is given over to fun and games as the kids enjoy a snack and play some board games. A short D’var Torah followed by a discussion session concludes the morning.
