In December 2008, a division our beloved synagogue programming, called YFABZ, Young Families at Beth Zion was launched. It brings family-oriented programming exclusively to the children and young couples of our congregation and community. YFABZ got off the ground with a huge bang, as over 150 kids and parents celebrated Chanukah and Havdalah, sang along with the Tweedle Dees and enjoyed arts and crafts on Dec 13th, 2008.
From that auspicious beginning until the present, we have endeavored to meet the social, spiritual, and religious needs of our young families with quality programs. Under the capable leadership of Seth Abels and his committee, with the aid of Program Director, Rhona Samsonovitch, Chanukah, Shabbat, Havadlah, Sukkot, and winter activities abound with fun for all.
